Pricing Your Event (aka Don't Be Afraid of Money)

Price Your Event for Marketing.jpg

One of the questions I've been getting a lot lately is around pricing for events and how to make money on your event.

The bottom line? If your goal is to make money on your event, you should be charging a premium price, with the goal of making at least twice what your costs are (not sure how to budget for your event? This should help).

(I say this with an itty bitty disclaimer that if your event is "lead-generating" and you're beta testing it, you can get away with a lower price point...but only this one time!)

Why? Because YOU are a premium product and in-person access to you, your brain, and your knowledge should be treated as such.

Watch today's video below to get more goodness. Can't wait to hear what you think!

HOMEWORK

1. In the comments below, tell me about your event and tell me your "I can break even with this" ticket price.

2. Then, write down your "I'll break even and have some money leftover price below that.

3. Finally, write down your "OHMYGOD this is SO MUCH price, but it feels good and it's totally worth this" price below that.

Ready? Go!
