I struggled for SO long trying to start a digital business. I was doing everything "right": I had a Facebook page, I was blogging consistently, I had honed in on my ideal client, my services were exactly what other "successful" copywriters were offering.
But the clients weren't coming. I didn't know why. And I didn't know how to get them. There seemed to be SO much to do in the online space. I wanted to replicate others' successes but building an online platform seemed SO daunting.
However, I had to come to terms with one thing: I'm much better in-person. I love one-on-one interactions, I love meeting new people and figuring out how to help them in person, and networking is my favorite after-school activity.
Which all translated into more sales for my online business (weird, right?).
If you're struggling with making connections online, have I got the video for you.
In today's video, I'll talk about:
1) What to do if the digital landscape is frustrating you and you'd rather connect with people in person
2) Why it pays to be a "starter"
3) How to take the things you already know about online business and translate it cultivating some local business
4) How you can find out my top tips for creating a local community, and translate that into an online community (hint: in the form of a bonus webinar!)
